West Ham vs Boro

The news is good for the Hammers, with all the players now fit for the semi-final. Anton and Gabbidon have recovered from injury and Etherington and Benayoun are also fit to return to the side.

For Boro, captain Gareth Southgate looks doubtful with an ankle injury and striker Mark Viduka is also a worry with a thigh injury.

Alan Pardew thinks West Ham's experience of last year's play-off final will help the players in the semi-final. He said: "If we had not won that game the future for West Ham in terms of being a big club again would have been very difficult because we were under financial pressure to win that game. There will never be as much pressure as that play-off final. It was as big as it ever will be for this football club, even if we get to the FA Cup final."

Pardew therefore believes that the players will not freeze on such a big occasion.

With a bit of luck, the 'Boro players will be too knackered after all the football they have played recently.
I reckon we'll just scrape it.

God I hope so, I'm getting more and more nervous the nearer the game gets.
