Arsenal 0 West Ham 0

Arsenal dominated the possession in the first half but with Upson and Collins looking immense in defence I can't remember Green having to make a save.

West Ham even had a good chance to go into the break a goal to the good. Seconds before half time Noble took a corner from the left which was met firmly by Collins head eight yards from goal and Clichy was forced to clear off the line.

The second half was very similar to the first. Arsenal dominated possession but West Ham restricted them to very few chances. Parker was dominant in midfield and Behrami was everywhere.

In the 49th minute Collison was forced to head the ball off the line after a Green punch was chipped back over the West Ham keeper. Apart from that Arsenal's only chances were an Adebayor shot from 4 yards after a quick Arsenal break, which flew wide, and a 6 yard header from Adebayor, which was easy for Green to save. Oh, and van Persie had a chance late on that he put wide.

The only West Ham shot on goal was a rather weak effort from Cole from 20 yards which was easily saved.

Tis was a completely different performance from the magic of midweek, but just as impressive, if for different reasons.

Come on you Irons!
