West Ham Gossip

James Ciollins is due to undergo a scan today on the hamstring injury that forced him out of yesterday's game. Zola said,

"I do not know how long he is going to be out but it does not look good. He will have a scan tomorrow. It is a pity that we will lose him for a while as James has been playing well."

According to The Times Claudio Ranieri believes Gianfranco Zola would be the perfect manager for Chelsea. (yawn)

There isn't much news around about West Ham today, except for news of some ex-players.

Nolberto Solano was rushed to hospital after feeling unwell following Universitario's 1-0 win over San Lorenzo in the Libertadores Cup on Thursday. He was later released after being treated for dehydration.

"It was dehydration, I was suffering from a lot of cramp and as a precaution they brought me here. But now I feel alright."

Ian Bishop has started the 'Bishbosh' Soccer Academy in Parkland, Florida, where he will coach under-12 and under-13 boys' teams on a weekly basis.

According to The Independent Saint Etienne have made a film called ‘What Have You Done Today, Mervyn Day?’ depicting the industrial wasteland of London’s Lower Lea Valley before its transformation for the 2012 Olympics.
