West Ham technical director Gianluca Nani has told The Daily Mirror that West Ham are definitely interested in Inter midfielder Luis Jimenez,

"He is a great player, one that we have always followed. He is a possibility but nothing is certain. He is also a non-EU player and it is not easy to get a permit for those players in England."


Many of the newspapers are saying that Matthew Upson's comments that he would like to play in the Champions League means he wants to leave West Ham. They have decided to wilfully ignore this part of his recent interview,

"My future is there (West Ham). I'm enjoying my football. I'm enjoying working under Gianfranco Zola."
