Cole Out Until Late January?

The Daily Telegraph say that Carlton Cole's injury is not as bad as first thought but, "even in the best-case scenario he will not play until the new year, which rules him out of at least six league matches and the third round of the FA Cup, at home to Arsenal."

However, reading between the lines, The Telegraph don't actually know the results of Cole's scan and appear to be just guessing.
