West Ham Sign John
West Ham have made their first signing of the January transfer window. American defender George John has been signed on a two month loan, with (according to West Ham) a view to a permanent signing.
John was signed from Major League Soccer side FC Dallas.

Don't know much about this guy, but i trust big sam he has the knack of finding good players from obscurity.

Yassou George Welcome To Upton Park Home Of The Mighty Hammers...
Apparently he was set to join Blackburn but the deal fell through last summer weather that was anything to do with Allardyce I don't know but if so he has had his eye on the man for a while.
