Anton and Reo Captain England

Both West Ham players ended up captaining the England Under 21 squad last night as they beat Norway 3-1. Ferdinand was one of only two players to play the full 90 minutes last night and took over the captain's armband from Reo who was substituted at half time.

Shaka Hislop played the first half for Trinidad and Tobago in their friendly against Iceland at Loftus Road.

Calling all Hammers: Abseil at West Ham United

Marie Curie Cancer Care is looking for over 100 daring Hammers to take on the challenge of abseiling down the Bobby Moore Stand at West Ham United on Saturday March 25.

This is a rare opportunity to abseil at the home of the Hammers from the stand that commemorates the greatest ever Hammer and England player, Bobby Moore.

This abseil is open to anyone over 16 years of age and offers a great opportunity to raise vital funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care in one of the most exciting ways possible. Don't worry, you don't need to be particularly fit or have any experience of abseiling: you just need to be a bit daring and be prepared to go over the edge for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

To find out more about how you can get involved please visit www.mariecurie.org.uk/events , phone 020 7599 7337 or email londonevents@mariecurie.org.uk
