West Ham Reserves Fifth Defeat in a Row

West Ham reserves lost 3-0 to Watford reserves to make it five successive defeats. The West Ham side contained some of the Under 18 squad. 15-year-old Jordan Spence, who signed his first contract with the club on Sunday, played in the centre of defence for the second half. The recent poor performance of the reserves does reveal the lack of squad strength at Upton Park.
