Luke Young has handed in a transfer request increasing speculation over his future. Both Spurs and West Ham are keen to sign the defender but the Addicks have repsonded with the request by offering the player a new three year contract. Hopefully we shall soon see if the player just wants an improved contract or really wants to leave the club.

Turkish international Gökdeniz Karadeniz is the latest player to be linked with West Ham. West Ham are rumoured to be negotiating with Trabzonspor to sign the central/right midfielder for £3.5m.
