Palermo Start With a Win

West Ham's Uefa cup opponents Palermo have started their Series A campaign with a 4-3 win against Reggina. The Scilian team started the game with all guns blazing and were 3-0 up within twenty minutes. Reggina pulled 2 goals back with a goal either side of the half-time break. Reggina then had a player sent off before both sides added a goal each.

It all bodes well for a cracking game on Thursday. Like West Ham they look to be good in attack but liable to let in goals at the back. It looks like West Ham will have a tough task stopping them getting an away goal this week but they will also find it difficult to stop the Hammers scoring in the away leg.
