Pardew Wants Take Over Decided

Speaking in today's Telegraph Alan Pardew shows his impatience with the length of time being taken over the potential take over bid,

"I have made it clear to the chairman that if we can resolve this as quickly as possible, that would be the best scenario for everybody. He is aware of that and I believe that is what he is trying to achieve."

The paper also quotes Macherano emphasising the importance of European competition,

"Things aren't going well for Tevez or myself, but we are not despairing. This is all a matter of time and a matter of not worrying anybody at the club. West Ham have a good enough squad to be a lot higher in the table than we are right now.

The tie against Palermo isn't lost. If they can win in London, we can still do the same in Italy.

The game against Palermo is very important for us because we want to play in Europe. The fans are excited about it and we can't disappoint them any more."
