Sheringham Too Old

Australian side Sydney FC have dropped their interest in signing West Ham's Teddy Sheringham because they suddenly worked out how old he was. Sydney FC chief executive George Perry said,

"We were concerned about his ability to play on a regular basis in the Australian climate."
