Letter from the Chairman
Season ticket holders this morning received a letter from West Ham United chairman Eggert Magnusson. The letter thanks the supporters, backs the manager and reiterates his ambition to take West Ham into European competition.

My old man got that letter this morning, it's a nice pr move. That said if Eggy is half as committed to the club as he says, we'll be challenging at the top table soon enugh. Hell, look at it this way. If we do go down, this way we get a better run at Chelski for the title in 18 months time!!!!
