West Ham in the Sunday Papers

The Star say that West Ham have missed out on Reading's Nicky Shorey and have now turned their attention to Chelsea left back Wayne Bridge.

The News of the World say West Ham have made a £11million offer for Shaun Wright-Phillips. Although they paper says a Chelsea insider has revealed that there is no way he will be sold for that amount and that they want nearer the £21million that they paid for the winger.

Also Shaun Wright-Phillips isn't very keen on surrendering the chance of playing in the Champions League and is wary of the arbitration panel into the Carlos Tevez controversy.

The News of the World repeat the rumour that Birmingham, Fulham, Aston Villa and Portsmouth are all preparing bids for Marlon Harewood.
