West Ham Don't Need Another Left Back

Alan Curbishley has denied that West Ham are in the hunt for another left-back. With the sale of Konchesky West Ham have been left with only one recognisable left back in George McCartney. This has led to months of speculation linking the club with a number of full-backs but Curbishley says,

"We had one [full-back] playing for Northern Ireland last night. I'm very happy with George McCartney - but we also have Jonathan Spector, who was also on international duty this week.

We have that position quite covered."
