West Ham Close in On New Stadium Deal

According to The Daily Mail West Ham are close to buying the land on which they will build a new stadium.

Chief executive Scott Duxbury said: "Everything seems to be going to plan. We are working out a price for the site and hope to make an announcement in the near future."

The Mail doesn't mention where the land is but most of the rumours have centred on the old Parcel Force site near West Ham Station. Part of the site is currently being developed into a bus garage but there is still room for a new football stadium.
