West Ham Stars of the Future (and Past)

West Ham's Jordan Spence captained England Under-18s to a 2-0 home friendly win against Ghana in Gillingham last night.

Reserve-team captain Jack Collison played in Wales Under-21s 4-2 win against France in Cardiff. Collinson won rave reviews for his performance for Wales Under-21 on Saturday and his performance last night kept Wales in touch of the leaders of their 2009 European Championship Qualifying group.

Teddy Sheringham has been awarded an MBE by the Prince of Wales for his services to gambling football at Buckingham Palace. The ex-West Ham player now plays for Colchester United.
