West Ham in for Bent

According to The Sun West Ham are ready to launch a £10 million bid for Darren Bent.

The paper says that Sp@#s chief Juande Ramos needs to sell to raise transfer funds and that Darren Bent has told Curbishley that it is untrue he didn't want to play for him.

However it seems unlikely that Sp@#s, having signed Bent in the summer, will be prepared to take a £6.5 million loss in just six months.
