Mixed Fortunes for Pantsil and Camara

Host nation Ghana booked their place in the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations quarter-finals with a 2-0 win against Morocco last night. However things nearly went wrong when West Ham's Pantsil put the ball into his own net with Ghana only 1-0 up. Luckily for Pantsil the ref disallowed the own goal for an earlier infringement.

Henri Camara's Senegal were not so lucky. They were defeated 3-1 by the unfancied Angola. After achieving a draw in their first game Senegal now only have a slim chance of progressing to the quarter-finals.
