Villa Interest in Ferdinand
The Birmingham Mail claim that Aston Villa are considering a move for West Ham defender Anton Ferdinand. They repeat the now oft quoted claim that West Ham 'are willing to listen to offers for Ferdinand.'
Either journalists are just lazily rehashing each other's fantasies or West Ham are trying to force the hand of Sp#rs, who were also reported to be interested in Ferdinand, or Villa really do fancy another West Ham player.
The truth is out there.

If it allows us to have the funds to hang on to key players like Ashton and Green ,then it seems a very sensible move, tho I prefer to see him go to Villa than to the arrogant(with precious little to back it up ,despite spending tens of millions) north london muppets.
