Return of the Walking Wounded

With the news that Noble could be out for the month and Ashton for most of the season there is some good news regarding the progress of Kieron Dyer and Jonathan Spector.

Dyer was involved in Friday morning's first team training session. Zola says,

"He is not far away but this is the most delicate time. He is progressing very well. We are bringing him with us to do the first part of the job that we do (in training) but he still needs a little bit of time. He can't really tackle and do things like that. He is doing OK and we are really pleased."

Jonathan Spector is due back at West Ham this weekend. After summer surgery Spector has been working on his recovery in the United States. He is expected to resume training with the first team soon.
