West Ham vs Man Utd - The Predictions

West Ham and Man Utd are the two in form teams in the Premier League. West Ham go into this game looking for a fourth successive home win and Man Utd go into it searching for a fourth away win on the spin.

Can the league's in form striker, Carlton Cole beat the league's in form goalkeeper? West Ham's two new signings Savio and Kovac are both unlikely to start but Savio should feature at some point in the game. For Man Utd Rooney is almost over a hamstring injury that has kept him out of five games. However, if Rooney plays he will then be named in England's squad to face Spain next Wednesday so Ferguson might leave him out.

Lawro thinks "West Ham are arguably the form team in the division" so he thinks they are going to lose. Despite predicting a 2-0 loss for West Ham last week and getting it all wrong he does the same again this week.

Sky say West Ham areĀ "playing some attractive football at present and striker Carlton Cole in particular is flourishing under the Italian's guidance". However they think Man United are unbeatable at the moment.

Setanta point out that West Ham have beaten Man Utd on their last two visits to the Boleyn. However they think a Man Utd team with Ronaldo returning to top form will be too much for the Hammers.
