Collins Out, Chamakh In

Gianfranco Zola has hinted in his post match comments that James Collins may be sold to Aston Villa,

"James was really good, to be honest," said Zola. "He played a good game. Considering the rumours around him, his concentration is 100 per cent spot on.

"Villa have said they are interested in him, so we'll see what happens."


The People claim West Ham are poised to sign Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh, after offering to treble his salary. They claim Bordeaux have accepted West Ham's £7m bid for the 25-year-old.

However The Mirror claim that Arsenal are going to make one final attempt to sign Chamakh.
