No More Transfer Action Today

Bayern Munich have ruled out the possibility of West Ham target Luca Toni moving clubs. Bayern Munich director of sport Christian Nerlinger has said that, "There is no bid regarding Luca Toni and we are not really considering his future."


In Stoke the locals seem unsure whether Dean Ashton is on the verge of signing or not. The Stoke Sentinel say Stoke are distancing themselves from a move for West Ham striker Dean Ashton because of on-going concerns over his fitness.

The paper claims that local radio reports in Stoke today claiming a deal has been signed and sealed with West Ham are wrong. Stoke are now looking at other targets.
