West Ham 2 Fulham 2

Fulham started the game well and were on target with three shots inside the opening ten minutes. After the opening ten minutes West Ham started to drag themselves into the game. They started to pass the ball well but, as usual despite the pretty football didn't look particularly threatening.

However, in the 16th minute, Diamanti crossed a free-kick into the box from the left with pace. Cole got to the ball first and headed home from 6 yards. Three minutes later and Tomkins had a good chance to extend the lead from a corner, but the defender headed wide from ten yards.

Johnson had a really good opportunity to get an equaliser in the 22nd minute. A quick free-kick caught the West Ham defence napping and Johnson only had to beat Green from 8 yards but shot just wide.

West Ham then began to control the game. This task was made easier in the 41st minute when Dikgaco was sent off. Dikgaco pushed Parker in the face and the ref booked both players for the incident. Parker was absolutely livid and argued with the ref. He obviously said something that upset Dowd as he took the red card out of his pocket and looked about to send Parker off. However the fourth official called Dowd over and after some discussion Dowd returned to the pitch and sent off Dikago.

For the remaining five minutes of the half West Ham attacked the Fulham goal, with Noble forcing a save and Hines and Diamanti both shooting just wide.

Within 35 seconds of the second half starting Upson pulled down Kamara inside the penalty area and Murphy scored from the spot. It was bad defending from Upson, as Kamara was out wide in the area, West Ham had cover and there was no need for the tackle.

A minute after the restart and Dimanti made a good run into the Fulham area but shot weakly straight at Schwarzer. In the 55th minute a Konchesky free-kick deflected off the wall and Green had to change direction to make a good save, at the expense of the corner. From the corner Gera scored from a couple of yards after Green flapped at the ball.

West Ham then were absolutely awful, giving away possession, and Fulham looked the better team. In the 70th minute Behrami and Stanislas came on for Parker and Hines. The changes failed to change much as West Ham with an extra man played slow methodical football with no passion and no ideas.

In the 2nd minute of extra-time Stanislas shot from just outside the area high into the middle of the goal to give West Ham a point they really didn't deserve. Then with seconds to go Fulham had a chance to win the game but Eddie Johnson shot wide having beaten Green.

You have to say this is really worrying. Against ten men of a really average team West Ham played like they didn't care. Some of the senior players in this squad need to have a really serious look at themselves. It definitely looked in the second half as if some of the players don't want to play for the club any longer.

West Ham line-up: Green, Faubert, Tomkins, Upson, Ilunga, Noble, Parker (70 Behrami), Jimenez, Diamanti, Cole, Hines (70 Stanislas)

exactly right. an absolute disgrace to be unable to sustain a one goal lead against an 18th placed team playing with ten men. an complete and total lack of ideas, energy and desire. in all the years i ve been attending games it was one of the worst west ham performances i ve ever seen. this was RELEGATION material, full stop.

We were so unable to even quick, simple passes that it looked like we were playing with 10 men not fulham. And when the owners are unwilling to invest in a striking partner for Cole, small wonder that we can't take 3 points in situations like this. But it doesn t help when Zola insists on leaving Cole in an isolated role upfront ,and seems unwilling to even try a 4-4-2. Nor does it help when Zola is unwilling to make changes until the 70th minute.

Mark noble has a lot to answer for. his performance was subpar, as has been the case most of the season. And Upson's judgement was terribly poor- not becoming of a West Ham captain or a member of a World Cup Squad. And quite frankly ,Green's performance wasn't exactly stellar. And Faubert's dire crossing doesn't even bear mentioning.

Apart from Behrami and Stanislas when they came on,only Cole and Parker really did the shirt proud.
Huge embarrassment. And it all starts from the top with absolute vermin who "own" this club and are ruining it. It's now starting to trickle down and affect the mentality and performance of the players and managers.

Do us a favor "owners" CB/Straumur: go back to Iceland and get yourself a terminal illness . You are a cancer that West Ham supporters want tobe shot of. You are a disease that supporters want eliminated.

to the "midnite " poster who seemed to have a lot of time on his hands after fondling himself at 3am,you didn't happen to be one of the jerks who left the Boleyn ground 5 minutes before full-time yesterday?

And what was that for? to go get some chips stinking of vinegar to bring back to Plaistow with you for your long trip home.

Idiot Duncedale, you losing your little Tory rag a bit now that Cameron has been found out?

Have you invited the Icelandics to urinate on your vinegar soaked chips again? You smell. Take a shower

Well, 08:10, you can't really call anyone names when you are the one coming out with all the abuse and profanity.

There's no real point in going on about investing in players if the team is disjointed and unmotivated. This is a management issue and having good players is one thing, using them effectively is another. If there is one thing that Zola and Clarke have taught us it's that getting the most out of the players we've got is just as important, if not more, than buying quality on the transfer market.

Our ownership arrangement is far from ideal but your sounding off is achieving nothing, except maybe causing some of us other fans to ringfence you in the same category as those muppets that invaded the pitch against Millwall.

So in the nicest possible way mate, give it a rest about the ownership. Things should change when and if we get taken over.

The moment we go back to that 4-4-2 with the midfield diamond we will be fine, ditch the 4-3-3!! Causes too many problems.

And was no one watching Tomkins - really stepped up in the second half after Upson's dodgy 30min. As for one of the worst preformances ever.......bit extreame, we wern't good but we've played so much worse in the past before mate!
