West Ham After Cassano - Or Not

The Daily Mail today strangely claim that West Ham want to buy Sampdoria striker Antonio Cassano and then go on to list why the club don't really want to sign the player.

The reasons being they have been told they can't buy him, he costs £14.5m, the player is settled at the Genoa club and Cassano's performances have propelled Sampdoria to second in the league.

I hear we can't buy Lionel Messi either.
