West Ham Play Down US Bid

According to The Independent West Ham "are treating with caution" the pledge from the Intermarket Group that they want to buy the club.

The Independent says West Ham were surprised by the interview in yesterday's News of the World having only had "the briefest of contact with the Intermarket Group." The Independent say West Ham first spoke to the group's spokesperson, Jim Bowe, on Friday and see them "as only a potential bidder along with five others who have also expressed an interest in the club over the last six months."

If now half a dozen parties have expressed an interest in the club over for 6 months ,then why have the Icelandics failed to sell it. The "dics" clearly have no long term interest in the club, nor any business expertise whatsoever. So why have they been poncing about for 6 months, continuing to pay tons of interest on the money they owe to banks?

Because they are useless, selfish miserable baskets who don't give a toss about the impact their actions have on tens of thousands of supporters, the players, coaches and staff. Who the funk do these Icelandic trailer trash think they are?

Force these scum out now. They are unfit to breathe human air. It's because of effing ricks like these that the world ended up in a credit crunch and a recession. Subprime lending filth who
wouldn't know a football stadium from and office building. Stupid, dumb pieces of excrement.

In contrast to the £100m bid, it is rumoured that Eggert Magnusson is also prepared to bid for the club. If it's true, then there is a BIG decision to make. Generous funds for the transfer window vs. an owner who has displayed as passion for WHU. Has EM learned anything from his previous term in charge? I'd like to think so.....
