Inter Market Not to Make £100 million Offer

Details are beginning to emerge about Inter Market's bid for West Ham. It is now understood that the so called £100 million offer by Inter Market for West Ham includes an estimation of West Ham's debt at £48million (£10 million higher than the club's own estimation).

The Telegraph report that this means that the Inter Market offer is worth only around £30 million to Straumur. This is about a third of what Straumur are asking for, so it seems likely that another bid will bite the dust.

The Telegraph are also reporting that Matthew Upson is keen to leave West Ham.

Rearrange the above into a well known phrase or saying, as it makes no sense at the moment. And what's the last bit about? Are you taking on all comers at 5-a-side or an impromptu street hockey match, only I must warn you it's dark at 4:45pm and your carer may miss you.

having a go at the owners is fair enough if questionable in the words he uses.

The numbers above are not what the article seems to say. Intermarket's bid is supposed to be 100. The one discrepancy is the level of debt, and the difference of opinion is roughly 10 million pounds. So to say that 30 million pounds is one third of what Straumur is hoping to get looks incorrect. The article even says that Straumur is hoping to walk away with 50 million. It's still a gap, but not as wide as the above post claims. I think.

What on earth is going on? Any other club being taken over is a major news story with non-stop coverage. Like the way we are playing at the moment the moment, there seems to be no good news actually there is no bad news either... THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME.....
