West Ham in the Sunday Papers

Knees Up Mother Brown are reporting that Franco will be out for three to four weeks. The West Ham Official Website is reporting that Carlton Cole could be back at the end of this month.

The Daily Star say that Manchester United are keen to buy Valon Behrami and that West Ham are planning a loan move for Napoli defender Matteo Contini.

Elsewhere there are reports that Lazio and Roma are also keen to sign Behrami.

The News of the World optimistically claim that West Ham will be taken over this week, with the InterMarket Group leading the race. The NoW also say that West Ham are keen to sign Zenit St Petersburg striker Sergei Kornilenko on loan.
