West Ham Takeover Statement Imminent

Straumur have announced that David Gold and David Sullivan have completed their takeover of West Ham United. Sullivan has taken control of 50 per cent of the club, but the deal is reported to have given him a controlling interest in West Ham with the option to buy the rest of the club at a later date.

Karen Brady is expected to be named vice-chairman of West Ham.
