West Ham After Riquelme

The Daily Mail say that Argentinian Juan Roman Riquelme is considering a move to West Ham. He is out of contract at Boca Juniors and has stalled on a move to Brazilian side Flamengo because of a raft of interest from other clubs, including West Ham.

The Mail say he also has an offer from a second, unnamed English side.

The Daily Mail also claim that West Ham are in talks with Richard Wright. They say West Ham hope to replace Robert Green with Richard Wright.

Valon Behrami will miss Switzerland's World Cup game against Spain because of a thigh muscle injury picked up in a warm-up game with Italy.

Green shud go,but Wright is not even good enuf to be a back-up,no less a replacement. Why bring in a keeper who was headed for League one because Ipswich no longer wanted him? To reduce the debt ,it makes sense to sell Green, especially given his unreliability over the lst 12 months, but he has to be replaced with someone decent, not someone who is no longer good enuf to play in the top flight.

you get what you pay for. and if u buy to cheap ,and pay peanuts ,u get monkeys.

it ain't rocket science.

Green is a class keeper. He has kept us in soo many games! and if it weren't for him, parker we would now be looking towards a season in the championship. Papers talk crap, to be fair Wright may be comign but it will be as back up to Green! as we currently only really have Kurucz! COYI!!

I wish everyone would get off robert green's back he should feel wanted not cast aside like he never existed (every keeper makes mistakes get over it),he will come good and if any west ham fan says any different they're not a true west ham fan.

We also have Stech. Who I've seen training at reserves games and at the carr match. He is already better than Richard Wright. Stech is valuable back to Green.
As for the man himself, Mr Green, it would be a shame to see him go, as stated up there somewhere, if not for him we'd be looking at Portsmouth and saying 'how the frick did that happen?' to each other.
