West Ham to Appoint Wally

The Daily Mail say that West Ham are set to appoint Wally Downes as Avram Grant's new No. 2.

Downes was a member of Alan Pardew’s backroom staff at Southampton last season. The former Wimbledon midfielder was previously a member of Steve Coppell’s coaching staff at Reading after nearly two years in charge at Brentford where he was sacked in 2004.
