West Ham Can Improve

Reo-Coker speaking on the West Ham official site admits that the team played poorly on Saturday but says the players are looking forward to Thursday's UEFA tie,

"I think it is good we have a game so soon on Thursday to put things right, it will obviously be a very different match as it is a European game and they will have their own style of playing football, but we can take some pointers from yesterday's game and hopefully get a good result.

I am looking forward to it so much, evening games under the floodlights at Upton Park are always very special, but it will be even more so this week with it being our first UEFA Cup game. This is our reward for getting to the Cup Final last year and we intend to make the most of it. The boys are so fired up already for the game and we are determined to go as far as we can.

We were a whisker away from winning a trophy last season, this season we have got an extra opportunity to win one and that is exactly what we intend to do."
