West Ham Fans Clash with Palermo Fans

Italian police have arrested 20 West Ham United supporters after overnight clashes with Palermo fans in Sicily before Thursday's UEFA Cup match. Police in Palermo said around 300 rival supporters fought street battles and then clashed with police in the city centre, hurling glass bottles and other objects at them.

West Ham however have been handed some good news ahead of tonight's game. Tyrone Mears and James Collins have passed medicals and are available for tonight's match. They are exprected to replace Daily and Ferdinand in defence.
