West Ham Takeover Latest

According to The Times Eggert Magnusson is ready to increase his offer after West Ham rejected a £60 million bid from his consortium. The paper claims West Ham will meet with both Magnusson and Kia Joorabchian this week in an attempt to thrash out a deal.

The Times also report that Joorabchian has preliminarily offered contracts to Brown and Paul Aldridge, the managing director, to stay on at the club should he take over. So the Brown era may not yet be over.
