FIFA May Allow Mascherano To Move

According to today's Independent Mascherano may be allowed to move from West Ham. A Fifa spokesman said last night: "We have received correspondence from Liverpool and a case has now been opened." The FIFA rule that says a player cannot play for more than two clubs in twelve months seems particularly harsh in Mascherano's case as Curbishley and Pardew before him hardly played the Argentinian star at all.
