West Ham in the Sunday Papers

According to the The Sunday People Nigel Reo-Coker has emerged as the key player in Alan Curbishley's attempt to land Boro striker Mark Viduka. Middlesbrough have been offered the midfielder in an attempt to snare the powerful Aussie forward. Southgate is after a driving midfielder and is interested in Reo-Coker but not with Viduka as part of the deal.

West Ham have also made Watford an offer of £8 million for Ashley Young.

Derby County are after Tyrone Mears.

The Mirror
claims that Sp*rs are ready to offer £7 million for Anton Ferdinand. However they have been told by West Ham that they need to wait until the summer before they can buy him for about £8million.

Watford are poised to accept West Ham's improved £8million bid for Ashley Young.

The News of the World
say that Mathew Etherington could move to Fulham this week. West Ham's Sheringham and Konchesky are targets for Blackburn Rovers.

The Star claim that Villaare set to make a shock £3million bid for West Ham striker Marlon Harewood.
