West Ham vs Fulham

Mascherano has been named in the squad for this game so Curbishley has a choice of Reo-Coker, Mullins, Mascherano, Noble and Nigel Quashie in central midfield. I suspect Quashie will make his début in this game and it will be revealing of Curbishley's plans who gets the nod out of the other three. Boa Morte should start on the wing after his own impressive début against Brighton. Anton Ferdinand (groin) is injured for West Ham and McCartney hasn't been named in the squad, so it looks like Dailly will keep his place in defence.

West Ham are on a three game losing run in the league and Fulham have had four successive draws in the league. In Curbishley's second game in charge West Ham managed a 0-0 draw at Fulham in a game that saw Konchesky sent off.

Good to see Mascherano back in contention. Look where leaving the best two players out has got us.
