Free Travel to Villa

West Ham in a welcome attempt to appease fans after Monday's thrashing are offering fans free coach travel to the Villa away game. A statement by chairman Chairman Eggert Magnusson on the West Ham official site said,

"I fully understand how disappointed and upset our supporters were by the unacceptable performance at Reading, and I can only apologise on behalf of the Club to those people who attended the match.

We are offering free coach travel to Aston Villa simply as a gesture to all supporters who spend so much time and hard-earned money travelling around the country to follow the Club.

I want all fans to know that their support is greatly appreciated, especially during the team's current situation, and it will be so important to us for the remainder of the season."
