West Ham vs Sp#rs

With Reo-Coker still suspended we may see Lee Bowyer straight back in the side in a more familiar central midfield role. However it is hard to see Bowyer making any difference to a demoralised West Ham side.

SP#rs have won their last two games in the Premiership and seem to be rediscovering some form. However their best hopes of success this season now lay in Europe and in the FA Cup. Their two games after West Ham are away to Braga in the UEFA cup and next week away to Chelsea in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup. Sp#rs therefore may see this game against the team with the worst form in the Premiership as a chance to rest key players.

Other than that it seems hard to remain optimistic about West Ham's chances. It seems that half the side have already decided that they won't be at the club next season and appear beyond caring what happens to the club.

The game is being shown live on Sky Sports One, so perhaps the prospect of being embarrassed on TV will instil some pride in the players.
