West Ham to Bid for Andrew Johnson

The Daily Mail say that West Ham are to bid £13 million to Everton for Andrew Johnson and offer the player £90,000 a week in wages.

The paper says that West Ham expect to be knocked back but are prepared to go as high as £18 million. Just the sort of information that a club is going to tell a newspaper before beginning negotiations.
