Solano for West Ham

A rumour floating around for the last couple of days has been suggesting that West Ham may sign Newcastle's Nobby Solano on a free transfer. Solano's family are based in London and he may be about to ask Newcastle if he can join West Ham on compassionate grounds. The rumour has been fanned today by news he isn't in the squad for tomorrow's game.

With the Toon still supposedly unhappy with West Ham over the Dyer non-transfer you would think it would be a request they are likely to turn down. However do they want two unhappy players in their squad because they have been denied the chance to join a better team?
