Craig Bellamy's wife and daughter are due to be released from hospital this morning. Bellamy has informed John Toshack that he may well be able to travel with the Wales team to Slovakia.

West Ham captain Lucas Neill has been named captain for Australia's friendly against Argentina tomorrow.

The Daily Mirror say West Ham will move for Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner when the transfer window opens.

Bendtner signed a new contract with the Gunners this summer so this seems unlikely. However, the Mirror say the striker is unhappy after being overlooked at Arsenal so far this season.
