West Ham's Champions League Form

Alan Curbishley has more than once said that last season's 4-3 loss to Sp@#s was a turning point in West Ham's fortunes. Despite the side losing he claimed that what he saw in the team that day convinced him we would avoid relegation.

Since playing Sp@~rs West Ham have played thirteen games and the team's record is ten wins, one draw and two losses. That is certainly the kind of form that will see us fighting for European qualification if we can sustain the pace over most of the season.

That is a big 'if' I know but it is nice to feel optimistic again.

I make Curbishley right. Despite losing it was the first time the team played as a team all season.
