Collins NOT off to Cardiff

There have been rumours floating around for the last couple of days suggesting that West Ham's James Collins was going to join Cardiff on loan this week. Cardiff City chairman Peter Ridsdale has admitted that he did attempt to loan Collins but was knocked back by West Ham,

"We did enquire about James three weeks ago regarding the possibility of bringing him in on loan," Ridsdale said. "But West Ham told us there was not a cat in hell's chance of doing it."
