West Ham Due Score Then Get Injured

Freddie Ljungberg and James Collins both scored on international duty and both were substituted after picking up injuries.

Ljungberg scored in the 19th minute for Sweden but later picked up a knock to his left calf. He was substituted as a precaution and is still expected to play against N. Ireland on Wednesday.

James Collins was not so lucky. He got his first international goal for Wales but picked up an ankle injury that forced him from the game. Craig Bellamy and Danny Gabbidon both managed the full ninety minutes.
