West Ham Give Trial to Young Pole

West Ham have invited Poland Under-17 international Filip Modelski for a week's trial at the club. The 16-year-old defender currently plays for Polish side Arka Gdynia but will fly to London on Sunday.

Modelski said,

"Everything started when I received an international call-up to join Poland U17 for the European Championship qualifications. Following the second game against Norway, one Polish player agent called me and offered trials at West Ham.

I treat this trip as a reward and a great experience. I will have the chance to train in a great club in a huge city. Frankly, I cannot wait to go there. However, these are only trials. It does not mean that I will change my club."
