Bilic on West Ham Radar

I don't suppose that it is much of a surprise that Slaven Bilic has been linked with West Ham this week. Bilic has in the past expressed his desire to one day manage a Premier League club and he diplomatically answered such questions this week by saying he would of course be honoured to one day manage in England.

Having qualified for Euro 2008 it would be unlikely that Bilic left the Croatia job until next summer. However now that McClaren has been sacked you can't help wondering about Curbishley taking over the England job and Bilic coming in as his replacement at West Ham.

I have one warning though to the West Ham fans who are now clamouring for Bilic's appointment; Bilic has no experience of managing a club side.

So how much experience did he have managing a national side?? Seems to have done alright with a bunch of players that he only sees on international duty. What would he do with a squad 24/7 in the Prem.??

Good point.

I do think Bilic would be a good replacement for Curbishley. But we don't need a replacement at the moment.

No, not at the moment and Bilic won't be going anywhere before the end of next summer's finals anyway. However by the beginning of NEXT season..........
