Upson Named in England Squad

Matthew Upson has been named in Fabio Capello's first England squad to play Switzerland on 6 February but Robert Green has been left out once again.

David James, Scott Carson and Chris Kirkland all got the nod ahead of Green. After Scott Carson's disastrous performance against Croatia in November it is unbelievable he is picked ahead of Green.

West Ham's Mark Noble has been named in Stuart Pearce's under-21 squad for next week's European Championship qualifier against Republic of Ireland.

Its an absolute joke - how can Kirkland get in the team conceeding 40 goals yet Green gets looked over yet again. Just worry that Green will feel he has to leave to get in to the England Squad

Which teams in the Premier League have the highest number of English players? I would guess West Ham are pretty high on that list and yet neither Capello nor Baldini have watched a West Ham game.

They have seen Arsenal though and a struggling Sp~@s team have been watched four times- I'm not sure where the logic in that is.
