According to The Daily Mail the flashing billboards behind the goal at West Ham put Ronaldo off and caused him to miss a penalty.



They believe the advert moving to the left forcing Ronaldo to shoot to the left.

A bigger shock would be if the papers started praising West Ham for winning games rather than look for excuses in the opposition's performance.
